This take a little while to get used to. Correct placement on your abdomin is essential. Once you get it on and get it turned up you will be able to see your muscles contracting. It has a range from 0 to 99. My experience is that you really have to get it up over the 50 mark for it to be effective. I've been using it for 3 weeks now but can't keep up with the 5 time a week that is suggested. There are gel contact pads that you need to operate the belt. It comes with one set that are supposed to last for about 30 times. They run around $12 for replacments. They are COLD when you first put the belt on but they warm up to body temp pretty much right away. I see some difference and feel that if I were using it 5 times a week instead of 3-4 I would definately see a lot of difference.
